Last Friday I got the opportunity to attend a great initiative hosted by Africa Konnect with the help of Multicultural Enterprises and Fairfield Migrant Resource Centre. Africa Konnect had a sneak peak fashion, hair & make-up show showcasing the talents within the African-Australian community.They plan to have an official fashion, hair & make-up show next year around March.
The event marks the start of what will be an annual event. Africa Konnect‘s aim is to showcase the talents of African people, promote African businesses in Australia, celebrate African cultures and bring together all Africans from the 5 main regions of the Continent.
For their first event, I think Africa Konnect a good job. Hosting an event filled with entertainment, great food and great fashion.
TheAfrica Konnect has a lot of potential and it will be interesting to see how it develops!!!
