Dance Africa Dance is back by popular demand. STARTTS presents Dance Africa Dance 2013 – a showcase of performance groups from African Refugee backgrounds. Working with prominent Australian choreographers Martin Del Amo, Francois Awad and Luck Lartey, the showcase features youth dance groups, solos, dance films, drumming and ritual. Spanning community, youth and professional practice Dance Africa Dance 2013 celebrates excellence and resilience against all odds by the dancers involved as they makes their new home in Australia.
