kakum national park

SOURCE: KUMUKA

If you want a thrill or just want a different kind of experience, I suggest you try walking ‘Canopy Walkway’ at the Kakum National Park in the Central Region of Ghana. The Canopy Walkway consists of seven 330 metre hanging bridges – the kind of bridges you see in movies when the bad guy gets to the other side and tries to cut the ropes which holds the bridge together so the good guy can’t get through!!!

Despite being freaked out and thinking one of the bridges would snap at one point or I would lose my footing, slip, fall into the bushes about 40 metres below and get bitten by a snake, it was one of the best experiences of my life!!! Although, I don’t know if I would ever do it again. I wish I had photos to show you, but I was so scared that my brand new camera would drop into the bushes!
