It gives me great pleasure to bring to you the final installment of My Africa Is: The Lagos Chronicles. I have enjoyed this series because it’s opened me up to a new Nigeria. An evolving Nigeria. A contrast to the Nigeria my parents knew. The Nigeria my Dad thinks is still the same as it was in the 70s and 80s.
I particularly like this installment because it is about someone I have been following for some time through his creative work. His name is Lakin Ogunbanwo and he is an amazing photographer. My Africa Is drops in on his photoshoot with apparel company, Kingdom, and talks about what it means to present provocative images, in a relatively conservative country like Nigeria.
