Last night I was in sitting in front of the TV with no idea of what to watch, when the documentary ‘Pray the Devil Back to Hell‘. All I can say is WOW!
Pray the Devil Back to Hellis a remarkable story of the courageous Liberian women of different faiths who stood together to end a bloody civil war and bring peace to their shattered country Liberia.The determination of the women is so inspiring!
I was left speechless by their immense strength!
The movie, for me, was about much more than the tragic, and then ultimately uplifting events in Liberia. It was about the power of ordinary people to intervene in their own fate…Leymah Gbowee…should be a lesson to all of us. – NEW YORK TIMES
