the no. 1 ladies’ detective agency

I have been hounded by a few people to watch The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency.  I have been putting it off for the past 2 months or so. However, last week,  I was able to take time out and watch it. And boy did I enjoy it!!!!

I was immediately hooked!!!

  I was laughing so hard, then gripping the edge of my seat the next minute.

The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency is based on a series of novels with the same title by Alexander McCall Smith. The story is situated in Botswana with an amazing cast featuring American singer Jill Scott, Tony Award winning Anika Noni Rose, and Artistic Director Zimbabwe’s Over the Edge Theatre Company Lucian Msamati,

 I don’t want to spoil it for those who haven’t watch it. But I was inspired to BIG. The protagonist demonsrates that you can put your mind to anything and achieve, even if every doubts you!!!

Although there is one thing which frustrated me a bit…… THE ENDING.

It felt unfinished – as if there was more to come.

I only hope my instincts are right!!!
