I read about this new short doco series called Touching Base by MTV Base (Africa) over a month ago on Nollywood Uncut and I was so intrigued. But I couldn’t find the episodes anywhere until a few days ago when I was on the 37TH STATE Tumblr.
Touching Base presents a whole new generation of Afro-cool, and introducing us to the street savvy, super-creative characters whose talent is taking on the world! Taking the form of inspiring and beautifully-crafted two-minute documentaries, highlighting talented young individuals from across Africa from the new wave of creative entrepreneurs, spotlighting impressive game-changers from across the continent who are trailblazing in the fields of photography, fashion, illustration, art, film-making, music and more.
I am so impressed, inspired and blown away about the level of talent streaming from Africa. Touching Base is a fantastic series!!!! It’s amazing watching seeing how the new creative wave in African evolving into an ocean!!!
