I am currently in Dubai on the last leg of my student exchange/world trip and today I was roaming through Mall of Emirates. I had never seen a Mango (MNG) Accessories’ Store, so when I saw it, my curiousity got the best of me and my legs began heading towards the store before my mind registered.

I noticed this fabric holdall bag (pictured below) in two versions from the Mango Touch Exclusive Accessories range. They looked similar to some fabric bags I had seen in Ghana only a few weeks earlier. The bag is known as the ‘HANDBAG M.. AVE-T C‘ and retails for £39.90. I don’t remember the price of the bag at the Mall of Emirates, but I am guessing it is about 250 Dirhams (DHS).

It is 37cm in length and  25cm in height. The fabric and style of the bag is cute, but personally, I would prefer it if the bag was a little larger in size, like an overnight travel bag kind of size. As a true African, I thought to myself, if only I was in Ghana, I could haggle down the price!
