I was drooling over the vibrancy and freshness of the SS12 ASOS Africa Collection. I couldn’t wait for the collection to come out. I knew that the collection was going to be released at the end of April, but that didn’t stop me from checking the ASOS website everyday just to make sure.
The collection lived up to my initials thoughts of being ‘psychedelic, experimental and edgy’ as compared to previous collections. I really wanted a piece of the collection, but a couldn’t picture myself wearing most of it. Nothing was grasping my attention until I locked eyes with the Pencil block print skirt. Immediate purchase!
The skirt arrived beautifully packaged in a Khanga pouch just like my other ASOS Africa skirt. The block print skirt is a piece of wearable art! Made with a refined cotton on the front teamed up with woven cotton extending to the back creating a beautiful juxtaposition of patterns!
