They new range titled ‘Ingvar’ is inspired by the IKEA business model and it’s founder Ingvar Kamprad. The Ingvar collection, arrives in a flat cardboard box with instructions and all the bolts and Allen key/s needed to assembly the furniture. The products are a combination of handmade and machine-made elements which are reflected on the South African craft and clean design approach of the designers’ Scandinavian forefathers.
I like the whole idea of furniture being deconstructed and stripped back to the basics!
