As of May 1, 2011, Edward Enninful became the new Fashion and Style director of W Magazine. Taking Enninful on board, is all part of editor Stefano Tonchi’s new vision for the magazine. “I’m thrilled that Edward is joining our team, and am confident that he will bring a great deal of creativity, professionalism, and industry knowledge with him. In recent months, W has collaborated with a number of very talented fashion editors. Bringing together this new generation of style visionaries – a group that is truly emblematic of the new W – is really exciting”.
Enninful has surely come a long way from his short lived career as a model. He just keeps going from strength to strength. I am very proud to say that he will continue to liaise with i-D magazine. I am a HUGE fan of the work he produces there. It’s always got the right dose of i-D attitude – cheeky, bold and edgy!!! It will be interesting to see what Enninful produces at W. I will surely be looking out for it!
