One Day

When events like Arise’s Made in Africa take place, I wonder why do I live in Australia? As much as I love Australia and feel very blessed to have been brought up here, I seat in envy in front of the computer screen checking out photos and watching interviews about events I would LOVE to be at. Living in Australia, we miss out on experiencing the full benefits of the creative buzz developing in Africa and the Diaspora. I know one day Australia will get to that point where we too will be able to hold events Arise’s Made in Africa, but that one day is not tomorrow. It’s going to take time.
