Accessory designer Sase from Canada has been playing around with making jewellery for the past seven years. While on vacation last summer, she saw friend wearing beautiful earrings which inspired her to make her own version of them. She wore her version to a friend’s wedding. Shocked by the overwhelmingly positive responses about the earrings. She decided to fulfill one request and make a pair for someone and leave it at that. But the more people saw the earrings, the more requests started coming in. And then she found ETSY, and the rest they say is history.
I am surely going to start my own little Orese collection!!!
The name Orese is a contraction of the words “ore” and “ese” which both mean “gift” in the Nigerian dialects of Yoruba and Bini.
The Orese philosophy ‘my creations are my gifts to you!’
