Stella Jean brought us the Wax and Stripes philosophy and now she has outdone herself with her 2012 Capsule Limited Oceanside collection.
Using the Wax and Stripes philosophy as the foundation, Stella Jean has created a 1960s swimwear collection. The Collection represents:
the melting of the spaces between cultures, achieved by sewing with a needle of respect and a thread of irony.
What I love about Stella Jean is that she doesn’t create a collection just because. All her collections are like in-depth poetic analysis’ on her thoughts in particular her view on culture.
The styling of this collection is impeccable and the pieces are chic, feminine and so cute. I think I need to get myself a set.
