The Bianou statement

I mentioned a BIANOU neckpiece which I fell in love with at the Fashion4Africa (24.10.2010) show and purchased. During the transaction, I had a chat with the mastermind of behind the BIANOU label. BIANOUis a jewellery and accessory line run by the very talented Bibish. She was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, left for France at the age of three lived there for 20 years before moving to the UK 11 years ago. Bibish has an extensive amount of business administration experience, but has now turned to her creative side designing one of a kind pieces. The pieces are not just inspired by African culture, but you can pick up traces of Indian and Spanish pattens and designs neat beading and intricate handiwork.
