The New Pachuco

When you mix Picasso and the zoot suits from the Pachuco culture, add large doses of modernity and you get the Autumn/Winter 12/13 collection of Tanzanian menswear designer Aduu Juma Masudi. Masudi has worked for the likes of Ozwald Boateng and All Saints, and has now branched out with his graduate collection titled ‘The New Pachuco‘. This graphical monochrome collection breathes the layering with cropped sweaters worn on top of long sleeved shirts, long sleeved shirts with T-shirts on top and shorts worn with leggings. Describing the collection in words, makes it seem crazy, but visually it all fits together like a jigsaw puzzle!
