Years ago, probably in 2001 or 2003, I went with my Mum to see the Soweto Gospel Choir. Before they were Grammy winners and before they took the world by storm!!! We didn’t know what we were going to see, but the idea of gospel and Africa in the same equation had my Mum sold.
We were mesmerized by there harmonization, smooth melodies and colourful costumes. It was such a rich, vibrant and provoking experience.
So if Soweto just happens to be in your neck of the woods, I suggest you go and check it out.
