Melbourne-based accessories label MIMCO has teamed up with LA-based headphone brand Frends in an exciting cross-continent-creative-collaboration. To celebrate the collaboration, MIMCO sourced the globe for five empowered and electric women to be apart of an buzzing campaign . MIMCO only had to look in their backyard to find electro-rapper Tkay Maidza. We at Afroklectic have already noted Tkay for making waves on the music scene down under and now she is starting to make global waves with shows in the States and her new single ‘Switch Lanes‘ as the theme song to this campaign. The other four women in the campaign are LA singer Mereki, London Hula Hooper Marawa, Tokyo model Junko and South African DJ Ms Cosmo.
