This cover was for a story ‘worlds apart: the adoptees caught between two cultures’ about African children adopted by Australian families. In the article, they discussed how Australian families were taking measures to remain close to the adopted child’s roots. For example joining an association for support, taking traditional cooking lessons and taking frequent trips to the child’s motherland. Quite Interesting!
I love the cover! The child signifies the youthfulness and beauty of Africa.
