better dayz

Months ago, I wrote about Miracle the Wonder Boy – an young Australian-African rapper making a wave in the New School Hip-Hop scene in Australia.

I am huge fan of artists like Kid Cudi, Kidz in the Hall and The Cool Kids in the new Hip-Hop movement. Hearing someone like Miracle who is African and living in my backyard of Australia is ‘Oh so Sweet’.

Miracle recently signed with Nufirm Records (Sony Australia), will be dropping a mixtape next month, a new single in October and an album in the near future. He just released a video clip titled ‘Better Day‘ which is a remixed rendition of Australian singer Pete Murray’s ‘Better Days’. The clip was produced by Miracle himself, directed by his friend Lemo featuring the Australian dance crew JerkSyd (who I describe as a bunch of dancing terrorists in a good way!). This music video is not only a product of Miracle’s talent but an example of the young up and coming talent from the African community in Australia. There is a lot of talent buried in this island we call Australia! I think you will be seeing a new wave of African-Australian talent surfacing!
