Illustrators and Illustration fascinate me. They provide a special lens through which to view the world around us in a way photos cannot. Black British illustrator T. S Abe is no exception to this rule. Her portraits are breathtaking. She leaves no stone unturned, making sure to cover even the most minute details that make a face a face.
Born in 89′ under the Brixton sun. Abe has successfully progressed from early aged doodles, to firmly realized pencil works. Her drawings have graced a multitude of mediums; from album covers to exhibition walls and a London bus. Previously exhibited at The Electric Blue Gallery, commissioned by Leo Burnett and featured in Dazed & Confused.
