A few days ago I wrote about my love of house music and I wanted to see a combination of Hiplife and House combined. Well, an anonymous commented on the post with a few groups who kind of meet this criteria. There person mentioned South African groups ‘Black Coffee‘, ‘Big Nuz‘ and Kenyan groups ‘Just A Band‘. I am loving what I am hearing.
While I was listening to these great songs, I was still craving for something like D’banji or Naeto C in house music. And then I found the Major Lazer house remix of ‘Hold Yuh‘ by Jamaican artist Gyptian. This was the song with the various Hiplife versions I was complaining about in the Afro-House post. I am actually really liking this House version. I wonder if all the other Hiplife artists will produce follow up house remixes for their versions too!!!
