This post may be slightly bias, only because I feel like I am writing about my little sister. I have known this girl since she was born, but besides all that, she is REALLY TALENTED!
Her name is Ms. Lisa she’s 16, born and raised in Australia and knows how to spit rhymes. She got into rapping all because her brother couldn’t stop talking about basketball. She says “Basketball was his (her brother’s) breakfast, lunch and dinner. So I decided to rap about it and it just went from there”.
That was some four years ago when she was about 12. And since then, Ms. Lisa has rapping about all kinds of things other than her brother and basketball.
Ms. Lisa works alongside her big brother LeMo who makes the beats while she writes the rhymes and rap. She doesn’t classify what she does with her brother as an official collaboration.
“We aren’t a group or crew, just a brother and sister doing what we do for ourselves and and anyone else”. Ms. Lisa
Lisa will soon be commencing her final year of High School and I thought she would be titling towards a full-time career as a rapper. But she said the complete opposite to what I was thinking. She wants to be a “uni student by day and an a rapper by night. Real Talk!” Check out her latest video produced by her brother LeMo.
