Born and raised in Alford (Scotland) to a Zambian father and Cumbrian mother
Emeli Sandé belts out sounds of sorrow, rage, pain yet so soulful in the form of lyrical narratives.
Before pursuing a career in music, Emeli studied medicine at University. She’s also written songs for the likes of Alesha Dixon, Cheryl Cole and Susan Boyle. The Guardian states If this is R&B, the letters stand for “rage” and “blood”. I totally agree. I wonder if medicine has influenced her song writing in some way!
