I am still trying to catch onto the hype of Kanye West’s ‘Runaway‘ movie! I watched the film. I understood it, but all at the same time I didn’t get it. I fell in love with the ballerinas dancing to the ‘Runaway’ song. The choreographer of the movie is Czech-Nigerian choreographer Yemi Akinyemi. Akinyemi enlisted his dance company JAD Prague to perform that visually compelling section. It displayed the beautiful art of ballet up against hard lyrics of Kanye and Pusha T with the high piano notes. A beautiful juxtaposition!
